Remote Access
Open Settings → Remote Access (/settings/remote-machines) to control how this Tarsk instance listens on the network and to bookmark other Tarsk installations you chat through from here.
Mobile & Network Access
Section titled “Mobile & Network Access”Sign in, then turn Mobile & Network Access on. Tarsk claims a stable public address on tarsk.net (for example https://<id>.tarsk.net). Restart Tarsk after you change this toggle.
| Setting | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Off | Default bind behaviour for this runtime |
| On | Public address on tarsk.net |
Anyone who opens the public address must sign in as the same account that is signed in on this machine. The address stops working when you turn the toggle off and restart.
Do not treat Off as a security boundary. Use your firewall if you need to restrict who can reach the server.
You can rename this computer under Machine name. The page shows the public address, tunnel status, and a QR code when network access is on. Copy the address from the page when you need to open Tarsk in a browser on another device.
See General Settings for related options (logging, appearance).
Remote Machines
Section titled “Remote Machines”Remote Machines are bookmarks to other Tarsk servers (each with its own public https://<id>.tarsk.net address). Add a machine when you want to run chats on that server while you control them from this UI.
Add a machine
Section titled “Add a machine”- On Settings → Remote Access, scroll to Remote Machines.
- Click Add Machine (+).
- Enter the other installation’s public id or full
https://…tarsk.netaddress. - Click Save.
Section titled “Sign in”Each machine row has Sign in. Tarsk sends a verification code flow to prove this account may use that server. Until sign-in succeeds, chats that target the machine cannot run there.
Rename or remove
Section titled “Rename or remove”Click the pencil on a row to rename the machine. Use Remove to delete the bookmark from this account. Removing a bookmark does not shut down the remote server.
Model credentials
Section titled “Model credentials”Chats on a Remote Machine use your provider API keys from this computer. Tarsk forwards them with model calls on the remote server. They are not stored on the remote machine.
Automations and scheduled tasks still run locally on each server. For manual chats, pick Local or a saved Remote Machine from the machine control in the chat footer when the project has Remote Machines configured.
